The ‘Design Ideas’ feature in PowerPoint can be accessed by following a few simple steps. This feature, which utilizes artificial intelligence, is designed to provide you with professional design suggestions for your slides. Here’s how you can use it:
- Open your PowerPoint presentation.
- Select the slide that you want to apply a design to.
- Go to the ‘Design’ tab on the Ribbon at the top of PowerPoint.
- Click on ‘Design Ideas’ on the far right of the Ribbon.
- If the ‘Design Ideas’ pane doesn’t automatically appear, you can find it by going to ‘Home’ > ‘Design Ideas’.
- Once open, the ‘Design Ideas’ pane will generate several design options based on the content of your slide. Simply click on a design to apply it to your slide.
Keep in mind that the ‘Design Ideas’ feature works best with presentations that contain a moderate amount of text and at least one image. If the feature isn’t generating ideas, try adding or reducing content on your slide.
