Go to the ‘Insert’ tab on the main menu and select ‘Video’. You can choose ‘Video on My PC’ if the files are stored on your computer. Locate the video file you wish to insert and click ‘Insert’. Resize and position the video on the slide as needed.
Step 3: Edit the Video
Click on the inserted video to reveal the ‘Video Tools’ tab. Here, you can trim the video, add fade in and fade out effects, and adjust other settings like brightness and contrast. You can also add text or images over the video as overlays.
Step 4: Add More Slides and Videos
Add more slides and repeat the process for each video clip you want to include in your montage. You can rearrange the slides in the ‘Slide Sorter’ view to change the order of the video clips.
Step 5: Add Transitions
To make your video montage smoother, you can add transitions between the slides. Go to the ‘Transitions’ tab and choose the one that best suits your style. Adjust the duration of the transition for better flow.
Step 6: Export as Video
Once you’re satisfied with your montage, go to the ‘File’ tab, then ‘Export’, and choose ‘Create a Video’. Choose the resolution, whether you want to use recorded timings and narrations, and the seconds spent on each slide. Click ‘Create Video’, choose a location to save it, and wait for PowerPoint to create your video montage.
