To create a background image in PowerPoint, follow these steps:
- Open PowerPoint and go to the slide where you want to add the background image.
- Click on the “Design” tab in the top menu.
- In the “Customize” group, click on the “Format Background” option.
- A sidebar will appear on the right side of the screen. Choose the “Picture or texture fill” option.
- Click on the “File” button and select the image you want to use as the background.
- Adjust the image settings, such as transparency and tiling, to your preference.
- Click “Apply to All” if you want the background image to appear on all slides, or “Apply” if you only want it on the current slide.
- Your background image is now set. You can further customize it by adding text or other elements on top if desired.
